Angels in the Mist Final Draft, Radio Interview, Dead Headset

SteelSeries headphones on a desk

Angels in the Mist is in the final stretch—and by that, I mean the final draft, which my editor delivered just a few days ago. Darn him if he didn’t have a lot of great suggestions! There’s a lot to do, but we’re still on track for a June 16th launch date. I’m thankful for the 3-day weekend coming up; I know what I’ll be doing. =]

I have an interview scheduled a few weeks from now with an East Coast radio station. Apart from the LA BookFest, this will be my first time on public broadcast. I bought a professional USB microphone just for the occasion, but I’ll laugh if they make me call in. More details soon. Wish me luck!

Speaking of, the boom microphone on my PC headset—which I use for gaming as well as work—broke today. For anyone who hasn’t tried, good headsets are hard to find right now. I ended up ordering a SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless, which supports both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth, so I can use it for my phone as well. It’s not a cheap date, and they only have the white one in stock, but for anyone in need of a good headset, here’s where to order:

Stay healthy. Stay Sane. Stay safe.
