The irreverent troop are back in this thrilling continuation of the Texian Armada. Trouble strikes from the shadows during an alleged protest aboard an oil rig, leaving one of Cam's ships crippled and Dom's squad stranded on an island with hostile forces.

And that's just the beginning. *Leviathan* is the biggest, boldest entry in the series yet, spanning from Europe to the Caribbean to the Solomon Sea. Some of my favorite moments were watching Maia learn and grow as captain of her submarine, written with sublime detail gleaned from the author's own experience. I felt at times I could step in as part of the crew, and yet the technical content stayed light enough to keep the story zooming along—and zoom I did. I think I finished the book in 3 sittings, which is blazingly fast for a poky reader like me. Naval battles, cybercrimes, island survival, and frantic melee combat to name a few kept my eyes glued to the pages.

A can't-miss for military action / spy / espionage fans. I already can't wait to get my hands on *Quadrant* when it releases.
