NaNoWriMo is right around the corner. Someone recently challenged me to write a holiday story, which I haven't done before, so that's going to be my theme. The question is whether it will be a [*Z-Tech Chronicles*](https://www.ryansouthwickauthor.com/z-tech-chronicles?ref=newsletter.ryansouthwickauthor.com) story or something different. Stay tuned. =\]

We're finally started to venture out of the house and take advantage of restaurant outdoor seating. Today the entire family went down to [Half Moon Bay Brewing Co](https://www.hmbbrewingco.com/?ref=newsletter.ryansouthwickauthor.com) and had lunch right on the harbor, which was wonderful.

I'm also winding up to launch a Halloween surprise. It was a last minute decision, but hopefully you'll enjoy it. Check back in on October 26th for details!
